Bozcaada, or Tenedos with its former name, is the third largest island in Turkey, the second largest island in the Aegean Sea after Gökçeada, and the smallest district of Çanakkale province in terms of population. It is the only district of Turkey that does not have a village. Its area is 40 km², its distance from the mainland is 6 km.
Bozcada, one of the first places that comes to mind when it comes to the Turkish islands, is one of the most peaceful holiday destinations in the North Aegean. .
When to go to Bozcaada?
In summer, you can swim comfortably in Bozcaada from the end of May to the middle of October, but those who want to have a nice summer holiday usually prefer July and August. The summer season is not overwhelming at all, as the weather on the island is quite windy and humid.
